In July 2020, The first Tezos Hub in Eastern Europe began its operation in Kyiv.
Each and every Tezos Hub visitor will be able to get answers to questions about Tezos, information about existing resources, projects, upcoming events in the community. The Hub is designed to unite like-minded people, potential partners, develop ideas, search for ways of their implementation, introduce new solutions to overcome challenges existing in modern society.
Development of the Tezos Ecosystem in Eastern Europe
On June 30, 2020, at 19:00, Tezos Ukraine and Baking Bad will hold an online meeting on the topic: “Development of the Tezos Ecosystem in Eastern Europe”
During the event, the speakers will share their experience of ecosystem development, areas of application of technology and opportunities that exist in society today.
The language of the meeting is Russian
Baking Bad is one of the most active development teams in the Tezos ecosystem, author of projects such as Baking Bad Staking Auditor, TzKT Explorer, smart contractor columnist Better Call Dev, Atomex – wallet and DEX on the atomic swap.
Tezos Ukraine is a non-governmental organization working on the development of the Tezos ecosystem through educational, informational and research programs. Implements a number of projects in partnership with business and government, including: TezTracker, Tezos Giga Node.

Tezos meetup in Kharkiv
Tezos Ukraine team went to the second largest city and IT Hub in Ukraine – Kharkiv to attend a major blockchain event “Kharkiv Digital” organized by Distributed Lab.

After the event, Tezos Ukraine organized a specialized meetup about Tezos for the conference guest and Kharkiv IT community.
Tezos Kyiv Meetup
Tezos Ukraine organized Tezos Meetup in Kyiv to boost the awareness and adoption of this technology.
At the event we covered interesting insights from the New-York TQuorum Global Summit, as well as information related to Tezos organizations and foundations.
The First Eastern European Tezos Hackathon
For the first time in Eastern Europe, the Hackathon related to the Tezos ecosystem took part in Kyiv, 6-8 September 2019.
Developers, entrepreneurs, and blockchain enthusiasts from all around the world to connect with each other, learn new ways to apply Tezos technology, and address specific problems that will allow the platform to grow more effectively.
First Tezos meetup in Eastern Europe
The first-ever Tezos meetup in Eastern Europe happened in Kyiv on April 23, 2019. The event was hosted by Everstake, a staking service provider and a Tezos baker.
Vlad Makarov (CFO at Everstake) and Vitalii Parkhomenko (Project manager at Everstake) made an introduction to Tezos and delegated PoS, the concept of staking. Also they spoke about bakers, baking process, and Tezos on-chain governance. After the Q&A session, the participants also drank tea and coffee in Blockchain Hub and shared their thoughts and opinions about Tezos.
